Your Choice for... Great British Summertime!

It’s all about animals* at Carlton Lanes as we celebrate the Great British Summertime! Appearing on three consecutive Saturdays – 9^th, 16^th, and 23^rd August – we’ve got ground based and stilt walking animal acts, then the ‘real thing’!

We’ll get off to a dazzling start with an eye-catching, mesmerising panda and zebra mirror animal duo ready to perform, pose for pictures, or just mingle with shoppers. For our middle date, we’ll transport you to the magical realm of the zoo with giraffe and zebra head stilt walkers towering above you as they glide through the crowd.

Our grand finale will be a mobile petting farm, bringing you a ‘not so fluffy’ cuddle corner. With rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, ferrets, a tortoise and goat, you can get up close for an amazing animal experience, learn fun facts, plus enjoy a meet and greet.

Great British Summertime events will run between 10am and 2pm in the main mall. Performance times as follows:

Mirror Animals

• 10am – 10.20am
• 11.10am – 11.30am
• 12.20pm – 12.40pm
• 1.40pm – 2pm

Stilt Walkers

• 10am – 10.40am
• 11.20am – 12pm
• 1.20pm – 2pm

Mobile Petting Farm

• 10am – 2pm
